In this position, you are responsible for carrying out repairs and overhauling a very wide range of new and used machines. It’s a great technical challenge, as multiple technical disciplines come together here. Of course, for complex or specialized questions you can always consult with your colleagues. At Van Zutphen, we do it together!
Besides your work in our workshop in Oirschot, you will also visit our customers to resolve malfunctions, install and commission machines, and provide training on the machines we supply. Occasionally, you will also visit customers abroad. This is a very broad and independent role for a technician who likes challenges.
Your profile as Electrical Engineer:
- Vocational (MBO) level education in control engineering or electrical engineering
- You can read and create electrical diagrams and drawings and are familiar with PLC controls
- You are solution-oriented, flexible, result-driven and customer-oriented
- You have a broad technical interest and want to continue developing yourself
- You enjoy an informal working atmosphere with short lines of communication and a straightforward approach
- You are representative and have good communication skills when dealing with customers
- You are able to prepare service and maintenance reports both on paper and digitally
- You can work independently, but certainly also as part of a team
- You ensure that machines under your responsibility are fully ready for delivery
- Knowledge of the German and English language is a plus, given our foreign customers and suppliers
- You hold a valid category B driving licence
- Experience in the food industry is desired
