In this position, you are not only responsible for carrying out repairs and overhauling a very wide range of new and used machines, but you are also involved in stock management and you occasionally supervise a group of colleagues. It’s a great technical challenge, as multiple technical disciplines and the coordination and planning of work come together here. Of course, for complex or specialized questions you can always consult with your colleagues. At Van Zutphen, we do it together!
In addition to your activities in our workshop in Oirschot, you will also visit our customers to commission machines and provide training on the machines we supply. This is a very broad and independent role for a technician who likes challenges.
Your profile as Mechanical Engineer:
- Vocational (MBO) level education in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics
- You can read technical drawings and select parts from them
- You are solution-oriented, flexible, result-driven and customer-oriented
- You have a broad technical interest and want to continue developing yourself
- You enjoy an informal working atmosphere with short lines of communication and a straightforward approach
- You are representative and have good communication skills when dealing with customers
- You are able to prepare service and maintenance reports both on paper and digitally
- You can work independently, but certainly also as part of a team
- You ensure that machines under your responsibility are fully ready for delivery
- Knowledge of the German and English language is a plus, given our foreign customers and suppliers
- You hold a valid category B driving licence
- Experience in the food industry is desired
